Tickets and merchandise for the Kamloops 2011 Western Canada Summer Games are now on sale! Tickets, Games attire and Sage and Marigold plush toys can be purchased online by going to the Games website at www.2011wcsg.ca.
Tickets for the Games are being sold through Kamloops Live Box Office at www.kamloopslive.ca . A pass for the entire 10 days costs $25 and provides access to all sport competitions at various venues around the city, excluding Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Passes can also be purchased for a single week at $15 each.
Games merchandise and attire is also on sale through Marks Work Warehouse, the Games Official Merchandise Sponsor www.markskamloops.com/summergames. This includes t-shirts, hoodies and replica plush toys of the Games cuddly, coyote mascots, Sage and Marigold. All merchandise can be purchased at both Mark’s stores in Kamloops.
With the Western Canada Summer Games right around the corner in August of this year; now is the time to wear your Games Gear and show your pride for Kamloops hosting this important sporting event! The Games were last held in British Columbia in Abbottsford in 1995. After they leave Kamloops this year, they will not return to BC again until 2031. The Western Canada Summer Games will take place from August 5 to 14 and will bring 2,300 athletes, coaches and manager to the City, and an estimated 2,300 visitors.
