“Practice as if you are the worst; perform as if you are the best.”
Sebastien Foellmer (Burnaby Canoe and Kayak Club – West Vancouver resident), or the other Transfoellmer, has kayaked for 7 years, and he loves paddling war canoe because of the sense of team spirit. He has had the opportunity to practice with teams in Quebec during his many years of summer vacations in the east so brings experience to our BC crew.
Off the water, Seb is known for his jokes, cross country skiing and baking. He likes making pancakes and chocolate chip cookies.
Seb rounds out his yearly training with x country running in the fall, x country skiing in the winter, track in the spring and canoe/kayak in the summer.
Sebastien’s goal is to win the K4 races and to finish in the top 3 in at least one K1 event. After the Games, Seb will continue on to nationals, where he hopes to have a repeat performance of last year, where he won a silver medal with Del Muench, Nic Foellmer, and Colton Muench.
