Club Development Coordinator Needed

The Club Development Coordinator will work with existing clubs and potential club communities to meet the following objectives:

·         Provide superior program delivery by assisting to establish, implement and support LTAD programming

·         Encourage and support qualified coaching leadership for all programs

·         Increase the number of individuals and the skill level of those participating in paddle sport programs across the province

Awards Banquet Deadline Reminder

As a full member of Sport BC, CKBC is able to annually present ‘THE PRESIDENT’S AWARD’ to any volunteer in the organization who represents the spirit of volunteerism and whose dedication, energy and commitment is critical to sport development.  Last year the winner was Jaden Langford.  Who do you think it will be this year???  Join us at our Annual Awards Banquet and find out!  Registration deadline is November 20th!

FREE Aboriginal Coaching Manual Course

The Aboriginal Coaching Reference Material was developed as a supplement to the NCCP’s certification process in order to:

·   provide culturally relevant courses for Aboriginal coaches and athletes;

·   increase the accessibility of the NCCP to Aboriginal coaches;

·   increase the capacity of non-Aboriginal coaches to coach Aboriginal athletes;

·   improve the quality of the sport experience for Aboriginal athletes;

·   increase the number of Aboriginal certified coaches;

·   improve the understanding of the application of Aboriginal cultures in sport and coaching;

·   share the wisdom of Aboriginal cultures with mainstream sport.
