All welcome.

WHAT:

CanoeKayak Canada will present its team of sprint paddlers being selected for nomination to the Canadian Olympic Team on Monday, June 25 at 2:30 p.m. at the Lachine Canoe Club. The Canadian Olympic Committee will welcome the athletes and each will receive a new team jacket.

Lachine is one of the founding members of CanoeKayak Canada and generations of paddling families have grown up at the club. Lachine is the home-club of siblings Émilie and Hugues Fournel, two of the athletes being named to the seven member canoe-kayak team on Monday.

The club will be filled with young paddlers as the presentation takes place on the opening day of Lachine’s summer program.
